natural energy supplements?

I am looking for a natural supplement that will give me more energy. Any suggestion?

  2. While B-12 is good for energy, there are so many other options and many that people get much more benefit from.
    The most popular energy boosters are B-12, Royal Jelly (and other bee-based products), L-Carnitine, Ribose, Ginseng, Guarana and Green Tea (both are natural sources of caffeine).

  8. GREEN SMOOTHIES!!!

    I have tried ALL the supplements, and NOTHING has gotten rid of my lack-of-energy problem like green smoothies. Basically, the body wants to be alkaline, but most of the foods we eat are very acid-forming in our bodies. Dark leafy greens are the key to fixing that. Buy yourself a very good blender (like a Vitamix) and try to get 2 bunches of leafy greens into your diet each day.

    For example:

    6-7 leaves of kale (which is just short of a bunch)
    25 frozen strawberries
    1 banana

    3 stalks of celery
    3 kiwis
    1 apple

    Spinach
    1 banana

    Yes – the high power blender will be an expensive purchase. Mine was $200 on http://www.craigslist.com, but they sell new for $500. But dollar for dollar, if you are talking about buying supplements anyway, the cost of the blender will be less because the supplements get used up, but the blender is still there 15-20 years down the road. And you have to eat anyway, so the whole fruits and veggies will replace a meal.

    Since drinking green smoothies, I have eliminated my need (and desire) completely for coffee, energy drinks, and sweets. Greens eliminate these cravings because they give you minerals and vitamins that other foods don’t, and that’s how it also gives you ENERGY!!!

    There’s a wealth of information out there about green smoothies.
